The National Space Centre TripPosted on: 01/10/2018
A group of our Year 8 students were selected to attend a trip to the National Space Centre on Friday 28th September 2018. It was wonderful to see them so absorbed in the exhibition, learning about the different parts of various space craft and understanding the requirements of becoming an astronaut.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the rocket challenge and were put through their paces with obstacles and challenges they had to overcome as a team. They all rose to the challenge and designed rockets which would be later used in a launching competition. They equally enjoyed the simulator ride and the 3D show in the planetarium, which left them hungry for more and resulted in them asking very insightful questions at the end.
We all had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
