Updated transition Letter June 2021

You have been offered a place at Lancaster Academy for September 2021. What happens next?

We are sorry that in the current situation, with schools still operating under restrictions during the Covid-19 crisis, we cannot be precise about the way your child’s transition to secondary school will proceed, as our usual schedule of events for Year 6 students and their families are unlikely to go ahead at their usual times and in their usual forms. Please be assured however, that we will do all that we can to stay in touch over the coming weeks and are investigating ways we can provide support with the process between now and September.

Please see below for useful information, and forms that need to be completed prior to the start of the new term.

Introduction from the Principal, Mrs Fisher

Uniform Direct

Update 18/03/2021

Unifrom Direct Parent Guide 2021
Attached is our guidance for parents in respect of purchasing uniform this year.

In view of all the challenges faced by schools, parents, and students during the pandemic, we at Uniform Direct wanted to thank all our customers for their patience and understanding.  As it looks likely that social distancing and COVID secure working practices will apply at least until the end of 2021 we will not be holding any sales in schools this year.  We are ready to serve all our customers and would encourage everyone to stay safe and order early online.  Orders over £25 are postage free.

Our store service will resume when we are out of lockdown, however, social distancing will still be in place along with no trying on of uniform, at least until the end of this year.  This will mean a slower pace of service and inevitable queuing for those that leave it to the last two weeks of the Summer holidays.

Parents are asked to help by coming to the store early, ideally in May and June and definitely before August 7th.  Parents are requested to come prepared, measuring their child at home and bringing those measurements with them along with their shopping list, their order will be picked out by our staff.

  • If you would like a call to advise on sizes, delivery times, general uniform advice email initially to:  Remember to include your Name, Telephone Number and school.
  • If you don’t have access to the internet we can take telephone orders on 01522 568865 (above information required please).
