Please read the information below to find out more about our remote learning offer.

In the event of further disruption to learning, Learning without Limits Academy Trust and The Lancaster Academy are committed to continuing to deliver high quality education to our learners. Through the use of a variety of resources we will deliver a curriculum that is aligned with the Academy’s long term curriculum aims and will support progress through subjects during times when our learners are not able to be on site. Our blended approach will utilise the most up to date technology available to us, whilst at the same time providing work through more traditional means for those students with limited or no access to IT in their homes. This blended approach will ensure equitable access to resources and limit the potential negative impact of further periods educational disruption.

In line with the DfE guidance: Planning for remote education, The Lancaster Academy has prepared a document detailing what the academy is offering.

The Parent Perspective’ Podcast

“The Parent Perspective” is an exciting new 8-part podcast series for parents and carers, helping them to support their children with careers advice and guidance.

About the podcast Parents and carers are one of the biggest influencers on a young person making their career decisions. Together with Not Going to Uni, we want to make sure that we are supporting parents to feel informed and confident in providing careers support and guidance to their child, so that they ultimately make the best decisions for them. This podcast will provide a space for listeners to: Explore which careers are available today Showcase the experiences of interesting and diverse role models Provide real-time insights into how the world of work is changing …all through a parents’ perspective. Each episode will feature a panel of diverse parents, bringing their questions and insights to expert speakers to try to tackle and offer practical solutions to some of the challenges parents currently face in supporting their children to make informed decisions.
