Year 7 Parents Evening

What a fantastic Parents Evening we had on Thursday 1st November 2018. It was wonderful to meet and talk to so many parents.

The overriding theme of the evening was how well our Year 7 students have settled in at Lancaster Academy.

Many parents that I spoke to were very pleased by the progress their children were making and commented on how happy they were at Lancaster.

Parent comments included:

"My son has felt very welcomed and safe, we feel that the staff are very supportive of his needs and he is making good progress."

"My daughter feels settled, enjoys learning and is happy in school."

"Friendly accessible teachers with good advice, the Principal is also very approachable."

"My son has settled in well and the school deals with any concerns i have."

It was wonderful to see year 7 students with their parents and carers feeling proud of their achievements and keen to be a part of the evening.

Many thanks to everyone who attended the evening.

A big thanks to our Hospitality and Catering students who provided refreshments to our visiting parents and families and to the Prefects for keeping the Staff topped up with essential drinks and biscuits.
