KS4 Volleyball

On Monday 11th March we travelled to Rushey Mead Academy for the County schools Volleyball super finals. 

We qualified as East Leicester champions after winning the City schools tournament earlier this month. Eight districts were represented at the tournament which were split into two groups of four. 

In the group stages we won all three games and qualified to the semi finals as group winners. In the semi final we played Harborough District and after a tense game, lost by 4 points. 

Our final game was the 3rd/4th place Playoff where we faced South Charnwood. Again the game was competitive with us eventually coming out winners (21-17) and gaining a bronze medal for finishing 3rd.

The boys conducted themselves with integrity and represented us with pride. Congratulations and well done to all for your contributions.
