Stephenson College

On Tuesday 10th March a group of our girls visited the Caterpillar plant in Desford. They learnt about the career paths of 8 different women who work there and the variety of paths available to the girls  at Caterpillar. They also toured the factory and learnt how they make the  machines. Finally they took part in a range of stem activities to develop their understanding of  the technical aspects of some of the jobs available. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the day and learnt a lot about opportunities for women in an engineering company.
