Remembrance Day 2022
All week we have had Remembrance assemblies where year groups have commemorated the Armistice and learnt about the importance of the act of remembrance.
From the Last Post to Nimrod students have learnt about the significance of music in history.
We have shared poetry from WWI and talked about why the poems are so famous and why they mean so much.
Today we held our annual one minute silence at 11.00 which expressed in action one of our school values, RESPECT.
This was conducted with the utmost respect – well done everyone.
I am proud of Lancaster and how we responded.
